new house... new pictures

 

We are in the process of moving into a house.  After living in a second floor apartment and having downsized... wow!  We just can't help ourselves... we're dancing, twirling, singing, and spreading our wings.  Well, Elina has been drawing "winged princesses" since we were in Sweden.  They have been inspiring me every day.  She will draw them for hours at a time.  I've been dreaming about making custom fabric with them at Spoonflower.  As I haven't been set up for scanning images and internet adventures, I picked up a few fabric markers.  Elina and Aeva have been making drawings on raw canvas for collage pillows.  Emma is going to be making collage aprons today, as she's had the creative bug but has been spending her extra time doing "every day math".

The last few days we've been to all the local thrift shops - looking for ways to set up our new rooms.  We've picked up a few fun pictures - in even funner frames - upcycling them into winged princess collages (not wasting any good colored paper we've also found home for extra paint swatches we had laying around).  Yes, we're dreaming up how to make this new house our home - and in the meantime collaborating on all kinds of creative adventures.  Pictures of all the new collage pillows, aprons, and greeting cards will be coming as I get them photographed.
