painting at home

This morning, I got up determined to paint, paint, paint. I have a bunch of raw canvas, and primed canvas, that I want to use to re-cover the pillows on the couch in my studio. I got really inspired by Alisa Burke's painted surfaces yesterday. I watched all of her videos and got all happy inside.  I've been painting raw canvas for aprons, and making fabric collage pillows, but watching Alisa paint on video inspired me to really paint some yardage quickly trying out different mark making techniques.  Before I got started, a good friend phoned me and asked if she could have my girls over to play.  Whoohoo!  Not only did I get to paint, but I got to paint uninterrupted and get really messy... amazing.
