resting up

i just love roadtrips.  

i especially love taking pictures of trees as we're driving by them.

we just got back yesterday from a road trip adventure to chicago.

we had some business there, but we also had some fun swimming at the hotel.

our hotel was right downtown.  i'd never been there, and the city was impressive.

i'm so thankful that our girls travel so well.

with lots of snow and freezing rain on the drive home,

we stopped at another hotel.which was just what the doctor ordered.

now we're home, and i'm resting up.  driving in the snow was beautiful but tiring.

after a hot shower, reading in bed at home is a wonderful thing.

elina decided she wanted to hang out with me.
